SINGAPORE WEST AUSTRALIA MUSIC (SWAM) FESTIVAL 2014

We are pleased to announce that Singapore West Australia Music (SWAM), a joint initiative between Timbre Music and Western Australian Music (WAM) is back for the second year running! SWAM is a cross cultural regional music exchange program that provides Singaporean and Western Australian contemporary musicians with the opportunity to gain exposure and experience in regional expore markets.

The West Australian leg of this project took place from 6-8 November 2014, where 3 Singapore artists/bands were selected by the WAM Festival team to perform at the festival in Perth, Australia. WAM Festival conducted an open call through Timbre Music and SGMUSO to collect entries for bands.

The selected artists were iNCH, The Pinholes and Villes who got to meet and network with Australian agents, artist managers, promoters, music label representatives, radio executives and government officials to expand their Australian market reach.
